Then & Now: A Historical View of Sunset Avenue

This is another of the photos taken by Dr. Eugene Buffum, said Fair Oaks historian Jim Pearce.

This picture is one from Buffum's house looking north in about 1910, said Pearce. The vista shows the Fair Oaks landscape between his house and Sunset Avenue.

The structure at right is likely a farm house for one of the worker's families. The barely visible three structures at far left and middle are the Cunningham and Morrow residences and the Morrow barn. The Cunningham house, built roughly more than 100 years ago, has been nicely restored.
