After-Party Brawl Sends Man to Hospital

An after-party brawl involving four males in Orangevale ended with one man taking a trip to the hospital, the result of a cinder block bludgeoning to the head, according to a Sacramento County Sheriff's Department report.

According to the report, the victim was at a party when a large fight broke out. The victim, 26, tried to flee the party but was chased by three suspects. During the chase, the victim was hit in the head with a cinder block brick causing injuries.

The fight took place on July 28, but for reasons unknown was not reported untill Aug. 10, according to the report.

The victim's friends transported him to a hospital, where hospital staff contacted deputies.

Sheriff's officials describe the suspect as a white male, 18 years of age, approximately 6-feet-tall and 120 pounds.
