Annual Golf Tournament Aims To Unite Communities

Members from both Fair Oaks and Citrus Heights Chambers of Commerce want to remind locals that sign ups for the 21st annual Past Chair's Golf Tournament end Thursday at the finish of the business day.

Those who haven't registered still have time. Sponsorship, golfer registration and raffle items will be due to Chamber offices no later than July 11.

Those who wish to participate can do so by sponsoring a tee, drink cart or can take a different approach by sponsoring a contest like "closest to the pin" or a "hole in one" contest.

Proceeds raised from the tournament will benefit Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks Chambers' operating budget, said Fair Oaks Chamber Director, Jan Otto.

The tournament takes place Monday, July 18 at North Ridge Country Club. Beginning at 8 a.m. participants will be treated to a light breakfast and official registration. Tee time begins at 9:30 a.m.

Sign ups cost $175 ($160 per single member) per single player and foursomes are $700 ($640 for members).
