Studio Hair Design is a Cut Above

Christine Dymek knows hair styling.

Having been in the industry for about 30 years, Dymek decided two years ago to open the Studio Hair Design salon at in the shopping center.

Dymek, who is a member of the , offers a wide selection of salon services, including haircuts, permanent cosmetics, nail services and facials. She specializes in services for weddings and special events. Stylist Marjorie Howse specializes in ethnic hair.

Dymek said she likes the partnership among local small business owners.

"Small business owners in this economy are working together to help one another out," she said. "We're aware we're in hard times right now."

Studio Hair Design does not accept charge or debit cards at this time.

There is affordable station rent available. Manicurists and stylists can apply within (some following is strongly recommended).
