Boys Basketball Playoffs: Carmichael Teams Advance

All three Carmichael schools have advanced in the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section boys basketball playoffs.

In Division I, won big over Kennedy 76-50 on Friday behind 19 points each from seniors Parker Uu and Akachi Okugo.

The Marauders next head to Power Balance Pavilion for the semifinals on Wednesday where they will face Delta River League rival of Elk Grove. Jesuit has won two previous meetings against the Eagles this season.

In small-school Division VI, ran away from Brookside Christian of Stockton 73-41 on Friday with 21 points from senior co-captain Blake Owen.

The are in Thursday's all-Carmichael section final at Galt High School where they will face , who defeated Lodi Academy 69-37 tonight.
