Baby Luke Gerhart was born at Mercy General Hospital at 12:02 a.m. on Sunday,
earning his title of the Sacramento area’s first baby of 2012.
Luke’s proud parents Theresa and Paul Gerhart of Carmichael welcomed the healthy baby boy into the world. Luke, who weighed 8 lbs. 8 oz. and measured 22 inches in length, is the Gerhart’s first child.
Interestingly, the post-partum nurse who cared for the Gerharts on Sunday, Julie Goss, was also born on New Year’s Day.
