'Carmichael Dave' Leads Fans' Efforts to Keep Kings in Sacramento
More than $300,000 raised in three days.

Sacramento sports radio personality Carmichael Dave continued to spread the word Friday about the growing online movement to keep the Kings in Sacramento.
More than $300,000 has been pledged for the Here We Build campaign through the social network Twitter as of late Friday, said Carmichael Dave, who can be heard on Sports 1140 KHTK.
Pledges have come into the from individuals and businesses for a new arena that many say is the main reason for the Kings possible move to Anaheim. April 18 is the deadline for the Maloofs, the team's owners, to ask the NBA for permission to relocate.

"Sacramento has had so much frustration from the bureaucracy so I said let's cut the red tape and pass the hat around to see what we can do to keep the team here," Carmichael Dave said. "We want to keep the Sacramento Kings in Sacramento at any realtistic cost."
Jiffy Lube has paid for digital billboards to publicize the campaign.
