Carmichael Little League Teams in Tournament of Champions Friday

The Carmichael Little League has three youth baseball teams in action tonight in the Tournament of Champions against other area little leaguers.

Carmichael's majors team managed by Jordan Kvick plays Rosemont Little League at 6 p.m. at Fair Oaks' Phoenix Park on Sunset Avenue east of Hazel Avenue.

"We've played six games in seven days," Kvick said. "It's a lot on these guys with the pitch counts but we're having a great time."

Carmichael has to beat Rosemont twice tonight to play Saturday in the final, Kvick said.

The juniors team managed by Dan Musso plays at 5:30 p.m. against College Glen at Valley Oak Park on Eastern Avenue Between Fair Oaks Blvd. and Arden Way.

The minors team managed by Jim Byron plays at 6 against Whitney at C-Bar-C Park on Oak Avenue between Fair Oaks Blvd. and Kenneth Ave.
