
A Carmichael man was shot and killed Monday evening outside a Raley's supermarket in the Arden-Arcade neighborhood, according to a report by News 10.
Authorities identified the man today as 34-year-old Carmichael resident Clark Lamonza Walker, News 10 reported.
The shooting occurred about 7:15 p.m. outside the Raley's at Marconi and Watt avenues, Sacramento County Sheriff's Dep. Jason Ramos said. Walker sustained two gunshot wounds to his upper body and was pronounced deceased by paramedics who arrived on the scene.

A witness told deputies that just after the shooting, a light-colored pickup truck was seen exiting the parking lot at a high rate of speed, Ramos said. No further description of any vehicles or suspect(s) was immediately available. Investigators were canvassing the area in an attempt to locate anyone else who may have witnessed the incident.
