Comment of The Week: A Parent's Job Is Never Done
Each week we'll sift through myriad comments, finding our favorite and give it the props it deserves.

Each week, we here at Fair Oaks Patch talk to a bunch of people. We enjoy having the conversations, sitting down to chat over a cup of coffee or just commenting back and forth with our readership. We hope you enjoy it, too. That's why each week, we'll be featuring our favorite commenter, giving him or her a special place on the publication to show off the words of wisdom they have to impart.
, grandmother to not , but Fair Oaks Athletes of the Week, lent us some universal advice on coaching and parenting the way any proud grandmother might. Thanks a lot for your insite, Lynda. We're very grateful for your support. This column's for you.
:"Josh...If her Dad is unable to attend a game or a tournament, her Mom video tapes it and then Dad will watch and critique it..He and Morgan have many many conversations about how she played, what went on, good things he saw and things he is not happy with. Morgan's Dad is a tough coach and a very very good one as demonstrated in all the tournaments their team won...They were either #1 or #2..Morgan's room is full of trophies. Her Dad was a Selective Team coach and coached her since she was 5 years old. A couple of years ago when Morgan advanced from Selective to Competitive, her Dad was no longer her coach on the field but, like I said, he still coaches her but from the sidelines...Is Morgan giving her Dad any lessons yet? Well, Josh it is kind of hard for her to teach the master, ha ha ha ha. They do have differences of opinions but, for the most part, they agree."
