Del Campo Alum, Lisa Ling in Sacramento Tonight
The former "The View" co-host and journalist hosts a new series on Oprah Winfrey Network.
Television journalist and Carmichael native Lisa Ling is back in the region tonight as part of theSacramento Speaker Series.
Ling, a 1991 graduate of Del Campo High School, will be at the Community Center Theater, 1301 L St., at 8 p.m.
She has served as field correspondent for theOprah Winfrey Show and is a former contributor to ABC News' Nightline and National Geographic's Explorer. Ling has also worked on Channel One News and ABC's The View.

Ling currently hosts a series on the Oprah Winfrey Network called Our America with Lisa Ling.
Ling told The Sacramento Bee that she will speak tonight about a book she wrote with her sister Laura, who was imprisoned in North Korea in 2009.
