El Camino Athletes Get River Cats Honor

Five student-athletes will be honored in May.

Five student-athletes will be honored by the this spring for standing out among their peers on the court and trails and in the pool.

"It's pretty exciting knowing that out of all the student-athletes I was chosen as a top athlete," Hareland said. "I worked really hard this season so this award shows me that my hard work paid off."

Players of the year will be announced at the Cats game on May 13 at West Sacramento's Raley Field.

"El Camino is proud to have five student-athletes recognized by the River Cats for being leaders in their sport," said Cici Robinson, the school's athletic director. "Their hard work and dedication is well known at El Camino and now the community can see five of the many amazing student-athletes we have at here at ECHS."
