El Camino Volleyball Seniors Look Ahead
Eagles look for third win of season over Rio Americano on Senior Night.
El Camino's six senior girls varsity volleyball players say they are facing mixed emotions heading into tonight's Senior Night game against area rival .
It's the regular season finale against the Raiders (28-9). The (30-3) won the two meetings earlier this season.
"There is no chance Rio can beat us," said middle hitter Megan Lunger. "It will be about our seniors after we prepared for the last senior class' Senior Night."

El Camino, ranked No. 2 by The Sacramento Bee, has been rolling along, with recent losses to Bishop O'Dowd of Oakland and new Bee No. 1 St. Francis in the Troubadors' Super 8 tournament this past Saturday.
"We're finishing strong for the regular season but playoffs will be more difficult, of course," said defensive specialist MacKenzie Sickle.

Libero Talia Kaczmarek said the regular season ender couldn't be any better.
"We've used league games as practice to get us ready for what lies ahead," Kaczmarek said. "I'm excited to be playing Rio on Senior Night."
The other Eagles seniors are California committ and outside hitter Natalie Riddering, middle hitter Nicole Hareland and defensive specialist/middle blocker Avalon Peterson.
"When you're with the team for long, you get close to them," said El Camino coach Marty Soyama. "Senior night will be tough for all of us."
