students will open a production of "Rumors", a comedy by Neil Simon, tonight.
"The play means a lot to me because it is by one of my favorite comedic playwrights, Neil Simon," said Sheryl Lee, a teacher in El Camino's Drama and Readers Theatre program. "I have directed plays by him before, and even use his plays to teach in my drama classes"
The plot centers on the lies people tell and how they can unravel and blow up in your face, even on the evening of a 10th anniversary party, Lee said.
