Fair Oaks' Most Popular St. Patrick's Day Spot Is...

...The Stockman Club.

It'd be nearly impossible to conclude there was a clearly prefered venue for a Fair Oaks St. Patrick's Day celebration. But if we can glean anything from Monday's poll it would seem if people are going to celebrate the Irish holiday anywhere in Fair Oaks, they might be doing so at The Stockman Club.

Our third Readers Choice brought in only seven out of the 10 votes - not what one might call a decisive choice, but a choice nonetheless. The Fair Oaks bar was one of the first bars in the Sacramento area to obtain a liquor license after Prohibition ended.

Runners up included The San Juan Club and Players Pub.

The Stockman is likely to attract a number of patrons for St. Patrick's Day. There's even talk of a corned beef and cabbage feast.
