Jesuit HS Names New Assistant Principal

Lorraine Paul Named Assistant Principal for Curriculum and Assessment.

has appointed a new school administrator, officials announced today.

Lorraine Paul was appointed Tuesday to serve as Jesuit’s assistant principal for curriculum and assessment beginning this summer.  Paul comes to Jesuit with more than 25 years of experience in Catholic school administration.  She currently serves as principal at St. Gregory Elementary School in San Mateo.

Paul has worked as both the assistant principal for academics as well as the dean of studies at Junipero Serra High School, an all-boys school in San Mateo.  At various points of her career, she has served as the dean of students at Moreau Catholic High School in Hayward; director of development at Junipero Serra and at Charles Armstrong School in Belmont, a K-8 school for students with dyslexia; a high school counselor at St. Paul's High School in Sante Fe Springs and a social studies and theology teacher.

“Lorraine brings extraordinary experience and commitment to Catholic education,” Jesuit principal Brianna Latko said in a released statement.  “She will be a great asset to our community.”

Paul has a bachelor's degree in social sciences, a master's degree in educational technology and credentials in social sciences and in administration.  She is also a member of the board of directors at Mercy High School in Burlingame.
