The Marauders powered their way into the Northern California high school basketball semifinals with a convicing win on Saturday.
The fourth-seeded Marauders handily defeated Castro Valley 73-53 in Carmichael behind 26 points from Bryce Pressley and 15 from Akachi Okugo.
Now the Big Red faces its toughest opponent of the season at top-seed De La Salle of Concord on Tuesday. The Spartans (28-2) defeated Pleasant Grove of Elk Grove 54-40 on Saturday.
