Jesuit Student Named Finalist For Scholarship Program

A student has been named a finalist for a Northern California scholarship program for student-athletes.
Senior Matthew Hamilton of El Dorado Hills is in the running for the 2011 Triple-Impact Competitor Scholarship Program. The Positive Coaching Alliance has named 50 student-athletes in Northern California as finalists.
Hamilton plays water polo and swims at Jesuit.

At a Sept. 24 event at Stanford University, PCA will give $2,000 college scholarships to 10 of these rising high school seniors (five boys and five girls) who best exemplify the alliance's model of the Triple-Impact Competitor:
- Personal Mastery -- Making oneself better
- Leadership -- Making one's teammates better
- Honoring the Game -- Making the game better.
