Map: Where You Can Buy Fireworks in Fair Oaks

Starting at noon on Thursday, June 28, fireworks go on sale in Fair Oaks in 10 booths throughout town.

Safe and sane fireworks are legal in Fair Oaks, and other unincorporated regions of Sacramento County. Sales run from noon to 10 p.m. June 28 and 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. June 29 through July 4.

As they have for the past 16 years, Sacramento Metro Fire District and County Sheriff's officials will enforce a “zero tolerance” policy toward the use and proliferation of any illegal fireworks. Know someone selling or using illegal fireworks? Call the Sheriff's Department at 916-876-5700. District fire stations 108, 31 and 32 at 6701 Winding Way, 7950 California Ave. and 8890 Roediger Lane respectively can also be used as a drop-off points to turn in illegal fireworks.
