The Marauders may have been looking forward to hosting Bellarmine of San Jose, a fellow Jesuit high school, in the second round of the CIF Northern California basketball tournament on Saturday in Carmichael.
But now, coming off of a , the No. 4-seeded Marauders (25-6) will face 12th-ranked Castro Valley (23-7), which upset the fifth-ranked Bells 54-48 on Wednesday.
Castro Valley was led by Jalen McFerran, who scored 16 points. Derrick Clayton added 11 points while Dawson Johnson scored 10.
