Motorcyclist Killed in Collision With Vehicle on Fair Oaks Blvd.

A motorcyclist was killed late Saturday evening after he collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Fair Oaks Boulevard and Lantern Court in Carmichael, a Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District official has confirmed.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at about 10:55 p.m. and found the motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released, on the roadway receiving CPR from bystanders. Crews moved the man to a backboard and into an ambulance. He was pronounced dead on scene, said Asst. Chief Scott Cockrum. 

The driver of the vehicle complained of neck and back pain and was transported to a local hospital, Cockrum said.
