The 2012 Harvest Day inside Fair Oaks Park attracted gardeners from around the Sacramento region Saturday, Aug. 4. Those looking for tips and help troubleshooting some of those pesky gardening questions were likely to find help this year as dozens of master gardeners were on hand from the University of California, Master Gardeners.

Folks were able to take part in presentations from gardening experts and socialize with their fellow enthusiasts, bid on gardening-related items at a silent auction, visit educational booths and enjoy a snack from food vendors.
