Where Should San Juan Unified Make Potential Staff Reductions?
The San Juan Unified School District begins the unsavory task of deciding which positions are most expendable for potential staffing reductions.

The San Juan Unified Board of Education will meet tonight to discuss potential staffing reductions as the District seeks solutions for a possible, worst-case budget deficit of $35 million.
At this point, the District will be looking at staffing positions across the board, including positions within the central office's administration (directors, coordinators and program specialists to name a few), school administrators (principals, vice principals, etc.), non-administrative K-12 positions (teachers) and adult education positions.
