Thursday has arrived and with it a variety of fun ways to slingshot us to Friday and the weekend. Spend the morning hanging out downtown with kids of Camp Fair Oaks, come back to town to enjoy some traditional Hawaiian dance at the Fair Oaks Library and cap off the day with a concert in Plaza Park.
There is plenty else to occupy your time, too, so be sure to check a complete list of events going on in the area.
Camp Fair Oaks
Kids of Camp Fair Oaks are taking a field trip back in time to Old Town Sacramento. Kids can expect horse and buggy trips, maybe a stop by the Candy Barrel for some salt water taffy and who could forget about the California State Railroad Museum? The trip is likely to kick off shortly after 9 a.m., so be sure to show up early to make sure you don't get left behind.
