Is it Friday yet? Not quite, but that's no excuse not to get out a little and enjoy what today has offer in Fair Oaks. Any way you choose to look at it, it should be a pretty eventful day for Fair Oaksians.

How to Sell to Everyone

The Fair Oaks Universal Wellness Center at 8005 Sacramento Street plays host to a seminar entitled "Speaking the Language of Each Personality Type." Have you ever received an unexpected reaction from someone? Do you ever have conversations with others where your words don't match up with your thoughts? Have you ever asked yourself, "What were they thinking?" Now's your chance to address those questions. Open Mic Night

Come show off your musical skills or just watch others jam at tonight. If you've always wanted to be on stage tonight is your opportunity. Enjoy some live music and some good eats and drinks while you're at it. The festivities take place each Thursday night beginning at 7 p.m. There's no cover charge, but seating is limited so be sure to arrive early.

Concert in The Park

Finish up early at the Coffee House and Deli? Walk across the street and enjoy some more live music with the Moonlight Swing Big Band. The band truly lives up to its namesake, equipped with a 20 member ensemble, they aim to take you back to the 1930s and 40s. The band takes inspiration from other legendary performers such as Glenn Miller, including his famous Army Air Forces stateside service band. Bring a blanket and some treats and enjoy some music under the stars. The music starts at 7 p.m. and goes till 9.
