Rooster Call 8/16: Digestion Optimization, Travel Photography, More
The planner to start the day and get you on your way.

Tuesday is looking like another busy day in Fair Oaks. There's plenty going on around town to pass the time with the makings for a fairly enjoyable time.
The National Weather Service predicts sunny skies, with temperatures reaching 92 degrees. It'll be warm but not too warm, so why not get out and see what's happening around town today?
Without further ado, here's what's happening in town today.

Tiny Books
Fair warning: I may be about to severely date myself, but once upon time, this used to be the thing to do in high school. Perhaps it was just my friends, but making small scrap books out of the most innocuous of moments, memories and photos was pretty fun. Years later it'd be interesting to look back and see those bits of memories chronicled in some way or another, so why not start now? Stop by the beginning at 3:30 p.m. All materials will be provided.
Optimize Digestion
The lecture, "Optimize Digestion: Gain Health and Fat Loss with Pamela Spencer, Raw Foods Educator and Nutritionist", may sound like a mouthful, but considering some of the things we fill that void with at times, it may be worth the time to check out how it could be done to better benefit. Join nutritionist Pamela Spencer for this informative class about how to choose the best, most nutritious foods for your body so that you will have "a quick and efficient digestive system." Join others at Whole Foods Market beginning at 6 p.m. and find out how to improve your caloric intake. The seminar is open to all, but you must register ahead of time. Follow this link for more registration and location information (rhymes!).
