Rooster Call 8/31: Bingo, Soccer, Connections

Welcome back to another edition of the Fair Oaks Rooster Call. Today we look at a couple of items right here in town before traveling across the American River into Folsom for a little Wednesday night high school soccer.

Without further ado, let's take a look at just some of the things going on around town today.

Boys varsity soccer is in full effect. Take a trip across the river tonight and enjoy one of the area's finest rivalries when Bella Vista takes on Folsom High School. The game begins at 4 p.m. at Bulldogs Stadium. 

Looking to help a worthy cause? Madison Mall Bingo may have just the thing for you. Today's proceeds will go toward helping the Gymnastics and Acro of Fair Oaks parents club. The club acts to fund competitive gymnastics as a collective group and offset some the costs associated with the exclusive sport. Play begins at 6 p.m. and typically lasts two hours.

Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church invites local teenagers interested in learning more about the church's religious teachings. The weekly meeting is a way for teens to connect with others and learn together. The sermon begins at 7 p.m. Those looking for more information can call 916-967-4784 or visit the church's website.
