Rooster Call 9/7: Nature's Design, Choir, Potluck

Your daily way to plan the day.

It may be a shortened work week for some, but that doesn't mean there is any lack of goings on around town.

Today kicks off the debut of a new gallery at New Artworks. The Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church hosts a youth choir for all kids ages seven to 10. After choir the church will also host a community potluck.

Nature's Designs

Mary Fong and Kathy Young Ross present their newest gallery, "Nature's Designs" today beginning at 11 a.m. at . Stop by the gift shop on your way out for a unique gift for yourself, a family member or friend.

Joy Choir

Do you have a youngster aged seven to 10 who loves to sing? The Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church may have an event for them. Every Wednesday the church invites Fair Oaks youngsters over beginning at 4:45 p.m. for an hour of sing-alongs and choir music. For more information, check out the church's main website.

Missions Potluck

Anyone getting hungry after all that singing? Stick around the Fair Oaks Presbyterian Church tonight for a getting-to-know-style potluck with friends and fellow church members. Bring a dish, meet church members, visiting missionaries and organizations and discuss upcoming community events. The festivities last from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Childcare will also be available for kids ages 10 and younger. Be sure to make a reservation with the FOPC childcare department by calling 916-967-4784. The event is free of charge.
