The Sacramento Wrestling Federation is holding "" at 7 p.m. at the La Sierra Community Center.

Organizers say there will be seven matches over about two hours. The main event fight is SWF Heavyweight Champion Dylan Drake defending his title against "Big Country" Jody Kristofferson.

A tag team championship match will pit Pink Mink Inc. against The Suburban Commandos. There's also a "Fatal 4-Way" match to determine the No. 1 contendor from wrestlers El Chupacabra, Kimo Kahnaloa, The Wise Guy and Sheik Khan Abadi.

The event will raise funds to assist the family of the late Seth Fengel in purchasing a headstone for his resting place.

"Seth was a friend of mine... he had birth defects and a blood disease that kept him in and out of the Shriners Hospital... where he volunteered as well," said Josh Edlow, the SWF's owner and operator. "When I heard his family had a hard time raising money for a headstone, I wanted to assist."

Giving back to the community is how the SWF's events operate. A recent match benefitted the UC Davis Children's Hospital. A November event will help the Boys and Girls Club.

"We love the community effort in Carmichael," Edlow said.

As for the wrestlers themselves, Edlow said they include former World Wrestling Entertainment and Extreme Championship Wrestling fighters as well as up-and-coming grapplers.

"I say the wrestlers are the past, present and future of wrestling," he said. "We're one of the best wrestling promotions you're going to see in the country."

Edlow said the event is interactive and fan-friendly. There is an auction to be a guest ring announcer, a bell ringer and a guest manager. After the match, wrestlers take pictures with fans and sign autographs.
