San Juan Unified Honors 2 Carmichael Special Ed. Instructors

The has named 12 district educators as winners of an award for , including two in Carmichael.

The Special Education Community Advisory Committee has selected 12 recipients of the 2011 You Light the Way award. The recognition honors individuals for going above and beyond in providing services to students with disabilities.

The list includes Shawn Cullen, a teacher at and Connie Folta, an instructional assistant at .

You Light the Way awards will be presented at a ceremony on March 17 at 7p.m., in the John Smith Hall located at , 5325 Engle Road, in Carmichael. The entire San Juan community is invited to attend the celebration.
