San Juan Unified School Year Begins August 16

And so a collective sigh of Fair Oaks students resonated throughout the community.

The back to school rush has begun and with it, throngs of parents and children prepare for the upcoming school year.

Students within the San Juan Unified School District can expect to begin their respective courses Aug. 16, a week earlier than the previous school year.

The earlier than normal start date allows for the high school semester to end before the winter break, according to San Juan Unified officials.
