Sheriff's Office Seeks ID for Woman Who May Have Information on Homicide
Woman may have been in company with victim, officers say.
Sacramento County Sheriff’s homicide detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a woman pictured in video surveillance images who they say may be connected to a Friday homicide on Manzanita Avenue.
Detectives say they would like to speak with the woman pursuant to an incident that occurred Friday, in which a claimed the
life of a man at a north Sacramento area apartment complex.
The identified the man as , 54.

At about 12:15 a.m. on Friday, Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Groves Apartments in the 5700 block of Manzanita Avenue, in response to calls of a man that had been shot.
Upon arrival, deputies found Sanderson inside an apartment. He had
sustained a single gunshot wound to the upper body. Sanderson was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives believe that the woman pictured in the attached photos may have been in the company of the victim in the hours preceding his death. The woman is not considered a suspect, but detectives would like to speak with her regarding the events of that evening.

The woman is described as being 5’ to 5’3” tall, about 120 pounds, with blonde hair that has brown streaks in it.
