
The San Juan Unified School District has increased security at its after 10 burglaries in the past two months, a district official said today.
The main building and those housing the technology services and instructional services offices were hit by vandals, said district spokesman Trent Allen. Thieves stole a television and computer equipment.
One juvenile suspect was caught but more burglaries occurred following that arrest, Allen said.

Evening security patrols have been increased and screens have been added to windows, he said.
This news comes after of a man who broke into the , formerly the site of Garfield Elementary School.
