Wednesday's Cheapest Gas: $3.59

The wet weather came and it went. Despite the National Weather Service's 40 percent prediction of rain before 11 a.m. it may be time to return to our regularly scheduled summer programming. And with that, some may be getting the Fourth of July road trip plans started early. Why not? As is typically customary with heading out into the great wide open in that automobile, one will need gas. One should be able to find some relatively inexpensive places to do it in the area as well.

We're here to help and with an assist from Gas Buddy, we've compiled a list of some of the least expensive places in the area to fuel up and get on the road.

In Fair Oaks:

$3.59 - ARCO, 8901 Madison and Hazel Avenue (as of Tuesday morning).

$3.65 - ARCO, 4625 San Juan Ave. and Winding Way (as of Wednesday morning).
