Week in High School Sports Nov. 28-Dec. 3

Fall sports have ended for Carmichael-area high schools so now it's time for winter sports: basketball and wrestling.

Here are the basketball games going on this week. Please share information on any wrestling matches this week.

Monday 28

-The girls basketball team is at Lincoln at 6 p.m.

-The girls team hosts Encina Prep at 6 p.m.

-The girls, which includes some members of the , are at Sacramento Country Day at 6 p.m.

-The El Camino boys program hosts Elk Grove at 7:30 p.m.

-The host of Elk Grove at 8 p.m.

-The Mira Loma boys team hosts Encina Prep at 8 p.m.

-The Victory Christian boys play at Sacramento Country Day at 8 p.m.

Tuesday 29

-The Mira Loma girls have a back-to-back game tonight at Liberty Ranch of Galt at 7:30 p.m.

Wednesday 30

-The Matadors boys host Vacaville at 7 p.m.

-The Rio girls host Manteca at 7:15 p.m.

Thursday 1

It's tournament time for six local teams.

-The El Camino boys play Center at 3:30 p.m. in the Jack Scott Tournament at Rio Americano. Tournament games continue Friday and Saturday.

-The Victory Christian boys play Elliot Christian of Lodi at 5 p.m. in the Big Valley Christian Tournament.

-The El Camino girls play Shasta in the Gridley Tournament at 5:30 p.m.

-The Raiders boys host Roseville in the Jack Scott Tournament at 6:45 p.m.

-Jesuit hosts Bishop Manogue of Reno in the Fr. Barry Classic at 6:45 p.m. Games continue Friday and Saturday.

-The Victory Christian girls play Esparto in the Lady Vikings Classic at 7 p.m.
