1. The high school football season is finally here. Tonight, the Del Campo Cougars host Enterprise of Redding at 7:30 p.m. In other local action, the El Camino Eagles travel to Colfax. That game has been selected as the "Fan Game of the Week" by News 10. News 10 reports "This Friday's game between the Falcons and the Eagles is extra special as the principals of each school are a happily married couple. Each year, both pricipals put their yearly vacation destination on the line to the winning team. Last year, Colfax's Rick Spears was victorious over his wife, Jill Spears of El Camino in a 21-18 victory.
2. The Carmichael Soccer Club begins its season on Saturday in what officials say is the largest soccer club in the area with more than 800 kids. Saturday is the annual Kick Off where every team gets their pictures taken but also scrimmages another Carmichael team.
3. The runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at . The will have a fire truck there from 9:30-11:30 a.m. There will be music from Jim Goodman & Son.
