Ready for the weekend? Here are some fun activities and events in and near Carmichael.

If you love all things Italian, don't miss the two-day , with plenty of Italian food and drink, entertainment, vendor booths— even a Festa Queen Pageant for women ages 16 to 22 of Italian descent, the prize of which is a $1,000 scholarship. 3.Join the Sacramento Sheriff's K-9 Association as they host the at 1000 River Walk Way at 8 a.m. Sunday. Proceeds "go toward the retired Sheriff's K9's medical fund."
