- students with a gift for on-the-spot comedy will go head-to-head in the district’s Comedy Sports Tournament. Students from five high schools will compete in a series of matches that will push their improvisation skills to the limit – and guarantee entertainment for all.

-Come join the El Camino High School Dance Team for a morning of fun, dance and games. The E’gals will teach participants a dance routine to be performed with the E’gals at half time for an ECHS basketball game. Open to all kids K-8th grade. Saturday. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. – clinic ends at noon.
-The Del Campo PTO will be sponsoring an E-Waste recycle and clothing donation drive this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. They can accept all home electronics, TVs, computer monitors, CPUs, laptops, and keyboards. They will not accept appliances, microwaves, batteries, or light bulbs of any kind. Also, they will be collecting printer cartridges, old cell phones, old gaming systems and digital cameras. They are also having a clothing donation drive where they can accept gently used clothing, towels, bed linen, shoes, belts, purses, stuffed animals and hats. Please bag these items separately from E-waste. This event will run rain or shine. The PTO could use some volunteers to help out with this event. Volunteers can come for as little as an hour up to all day. Students, parents - all are welcome. If you wish to volunteer, you can contact Rose Melavic at melavic@comcast.net to tell her when you can come or you can just show up.
