HS sports, honorary mayor fundraiser, Nature Fest and Celtic Festival.

1. In high school football action tonight, (3-4) plays a at Sheldon at 7:15 p.m. (2-5) faces (3-4) at El Camino High School at 7:30 p.m. The plays in the Davis Fall Classic today and Saturday. Games scheduled today are 9 a.m. vs. Marin Catholic and 6 p.m. vs. Davis. The boys soccer team hosts Forest Lake Christian of Auburn at 4 p.m. On Saturday, the Jesuit water polo team is at Las Lomas and De La Salle of Concord. The team takes part in the Edison Tournament.
2. 's begins at 10 a.m. Saturday. Come shop from over 40 vendors for holiday gifts, decorations, and something special just for you! Hot dog lunches available. Everything's indoors, so don't let the weather keep you away.
3. An art fair takes place at Carmichael Park on Saturday and Sunday. There will be arts and crafts and music by Doug Cash on Saturday.

4. hosts a fundraiser at starting at 4 p.m. Guitarist and vocalist Edson Artica will be playing from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
5. It's at the Effie Yeaw Nature Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. This free family event that will feature live animals, activities, demonstrations, educational booths and much more. Carmichael Patch will be there so check back Monday for a photo gallery.

6. Carmichael's Celtic Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at . The band shell is where the action will be with music, food, athletics, pipe bands and more representing the Celtic culture. The event is sponsored by the St. Andrew's Society of Sacramento.
