Which Streetlamps Would You Choose For The Village Makeover?
The Fair Oaks Village Enhancement Committee will put the streetlamp of choice to a vote on April 4.
Alright, Fair Oaks, here's a chance to have some input on choices being made for improving The Village. The Fair Oaks Village Enhancement Committee will put to a vote Wednesday, April 4, which decorative streetlamps will be installed along Fair Oaks Boulevard.
The gallery includes the three decorative streetlights (Option "A", "B" and "C") acceptable to Sacramento's Department of Transportation (SacDOT), FOVEC chair Greg Vincent explained.
"Due to maintenance, availability, repairs and standardization SacDOT has requested we select from these options," Vincent said in an e-mail. "The paint color for the poles can be selected."

SacDOT and FOVEC would suggest the color be dark green or black, Vincent said.
Option A is the same or similar to that on the Hazel Avenue Bridge. Option B is the same or similar to that on the Watt Avenue Bridge. Option C is an additional choice, meaning it's unlikely to be chosen anyway.
