Eur will attend Harvard University in the fall where he will major in mathematics.
"What's really important is that Jesuit prepares us to go into the world," he said. "It teaches us that in giving we receive."
Ellard said his speech Saturday will be about how he is grateful for everything Jesuit has given him.
"Jesuit has given me the personality of wanting to give back to others," he said.
Ellard was a manager for the Jesuit team and served on the Liturgy Planning Team and the senior retreat team for the Kairos retreat. He will attend the University of Alabama with the goal of entering either sports medicine or sports management.
"I'm originally from (Alabama) so I'm going back to family there," Ellard said.
