'Wizard of Oz' Comes to St. John the Evangelist School

The Drama Club will present "The Wizard of Oz" for four performances this weekend only.

The club will be using the threatrical version of the play, said director Joanne Giffard.

"We've been working since September and we've got about 70 children in the show," Giffard said. "The set is beautiful and the costumes are great too."

The play will be performed Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

It will be performed in the Tinlee Center at the school at 5701 Locust Avenue.

Tickets are $5.
