Would-Be Robber Gives House Sitter a Scare

The suspect fled on foot before he could be identified.

Around 5 a.m. April 15 a house sitter on the 7700 block of Oaks Leaf Avenue received a rude awakening when a would-be robber threw a large object through one of the home's front windows, according to a report filed by Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies.

The male suspect, identified as being approximately 60-years-old, made entrance into the home but fled once he saw the sitter, according to the report.

The sitter was unable to determine if any items were stolen while the suspect was inside the home.
