Police Log, May 24-27: Dead Animals Found in Lagoon

9:13 a.m. - Animal Call - Occurred on Magellan Ln. Rp rpts a dog left unattended in a vehicle for the last hour with the windows rolled up. Dog owner contacted and removed the animal from the car.
10:23 a.m. - Battery - Occurred at Library on E Hillsdale Bl. Citizen at the front counter reporting subject associated with the day program for the mentally challenged is very upset ifo the library next to a maroon Dodge Caravan. Subject pushed two citizens. No medical needed/declined. Mother responded, calmed subject and took him home. Case taken with no prosecution desired.
3:14 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Brewer Island School on Polynesia Dr. Front counter RP reports unknown(s) took her daughter's watch from her desk yesterday btwn 1015 & 1445 hrs and her baseball glove from her backpack today btwn 1100 & 1400 hrs from outside room 24. Est loss $15.00 for "one direction" watch and $150.00 for glove.

9:29 a.m. - Property Incident - Occurred at Windsurfer Park on E 3D Av. Rpt of a lost wedding ring. Occurred approx a month ago.
12:07 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred at Marlin Cove Apts on Foster City Bl. RP reports that the rear license plate was stolen from his gold Toyota Sienna sometime between 0800 and noon today.
2:16 p.m. - Lost Property - Occurred on Flying Mist Isle. RP reports having lost two checks valued at $639 & $815.
5:37 p.m. - Petty Theft - Occurred on Bowfin. Plants worth about $60 stolen from the front yard between 1100 and 1700. Resident contacted, no report desired.

12:38 a.m. - Vehicle Code Violation - Occurred at Beach Park Bl/Swordfish. FCFD en route to a report of a vehicle stuck in the mud. Vehicle able to get out and tow truck responds to assist with additional vehicle.
1 p.m. - Battery - Occurred at Foster City Launderland on Shell Bl. RP reports via translator that a BM shoved her son. Contact made with all involved parties. Case taken for 240/242 with no prosecution desired.
6:18 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Safeway Supermarket on E Hillsdale Bl. Front Counter RP found a wallet. Returned to owner at the Front Counter.

8:56 a.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Outrigger Ln/Wheelhouse Ln. Citizen reports two unkn animals floating in the water on the lagoon side of the bay intake gates. Animal Control responded and removed the deceased animals.
3:17 p.m. - Animal Call - Occurred at Schooner Bay I Associates,l.p. on Timberhead Ln. Rpt of male beagle dog, brown/blk/whi wearing a brown collar with no tags, wandering around the area for almost an hour. Dog located/brought to the Station and picked up by Animal Control.
4:31 p.m. - Found Property - Occurred at Foster City Police Dept on E Hillsdale Bl. Found ring turned in at the Front Counter.
5:05 p.m. - City Ordinance Violation - Occurred on Sloop Ct. RP reports that the resident has erected a tent and anti-abortion signs on their front lawn. No crime was observed and resident is checking their equipment in preparation for the Art & Wine Festival.
