Accident Briefly Closes 405 Fast Lane, Carpool Lane

A two-car accident Wednesday on the northbound Interstate 405 near Magnolia Street in Fountain Valley briefly closed the No. 1 and HOV lanes.

According the the California Highway Patrol, a truck and sedan collided around 12:40 p.m., causing the sedan to end up in the No. 1 lane, and leaving debris in the HOV lane.

CHP arrived on scene around 12:55 and a sig alert was issued. The sig alert was cleared by around 1:45. No injuries were reported.
