FULLERTON, CA — Police Tuesday released the identity of a man suspected of groping two women on the Fullerton College campus.

Yoon pleaded guilty to misdemeanor vandalism March 2 and was sentenced to 12 days in jail and placed on three years of informal probation, so he faces an allegation of violating probation, according to court records.

Yoon was suspected of groping two women within minutes of each other about 6:35 p.m., Jan. 31, Radus said.

Two female students reported that a suspect they did not know groped them in the crotch area, and described him as possibly Asian and in his 20s, about 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, with a cropped beard.

At 6:30 p.m. Feb. 1, detectives were called to the college by campus police, who had detained a 35-year-old man because he was "acting erratically" and "displaying signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance," according to Radus.

After further investigation, the man was identified as the alleged groper, the sergeant said.

Police asked anyone who believes they may have been victimized by the suspect to contact Family Crimes Sgt. J. Ema at (714) 738-6580, or make an anonymous tip by calling Orange County Crime Stoppers at 1-855-TIP-OCCS or go to www.occrimestopper.com.
