Details of Fountain Valley Alleged Attempted Rape Emerge
The victim was found distraught and with visible injuries, according to police, who arrested an Anaheim man in the case.

Details of an alleged rape in Fountain Valley have emerged.
According to the Orange County Register, police were called to a home near the intersection of Warner Avenue and San Bruno Street at 11:20 p.m. Saturday. When they arrived, they found a woman outside who was bruised and distraught.
She told them she had been assaulted inside her home by Christopher Lee Turner, 46, of Anaheim, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Police investigated, learning that the victim and Turner were acquaintances who’d recently met, according to Fountain Valley police Sgt. Tony Luce. The victim had invited Turner inside her home prior to the attack, Luce said.
Turner was arrested on charges of felony counts of attempted forcible rape, assault with intent to commit a sexual offense, kidnapping and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, and an enhancement for great bodily injury to a sexual assault victim.

The Orange County district attorney’s office charged Turner with four felonies: attempted rape, assault with intent to commit a sexual offense, kidnapping and aggravated assault.
Turner, who is in jail in lieu of $1 million bail, is scheduled to next be in court on Dec. 11.
