Elderly Man Found Dead At Site Of Fountain Valley House Fire

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA -- The body of an elderly man inside a home following a fire at a house in on the 18000 block of Plumosa Street on Tuesday, according to the Fountain Valley Police Dept.

Firefighters were dispatched at about 7 p.m. after a woman at a burning home called 911, according to the Fountain Valley PD. Crews managed to put out the blaze, but found the woman's 91-year-old husband dead inside.

His wife was not injured. The name of the deceased was not immediately released by authorities.

Investigators were looking into the incident, but the fire appears have been accidental, police said.
