Local Vietnamese Community Rallies to Aid of Japanese Quake Victims

Thousands turned out Friday afternoon at Fountain Valley Town Center for Viet Love 4 Japan, a free concert to benefit the victims of the recent tragedies in Japan.

The event's organizers were joined in putting on the show by the Fountain Valley Chamber of Commerce, the Vietnamese American Chamber of Commerce and the American Red Cross of Orange County.

Organizers were hoping to raise at least $100,000 for relief efforts in Japan.
