Olisa Horn and Vanessa Garcia combined for 41 points Wednesday night, outscoring the entire Rancho Alamitos team as Los Amigos improved to 5-0 in Garden Grove League play with a 53-35 win at home.
Los Amigos never trailed in the game, and didn't give up more than 12 points in any one quarter. Horn led the way for the Lady Lobos with 24 points, and Garcia added 17.
Los Amigos now effectively controls its own destiny in the chase for the Garden Grove League title with three games to play. The next game for the Lady Lobos is Friday at home against Garden Grove.
